Artist Creativity Block

Artists sometimes get a block in their creativity which can be called as artist creativity block. It can be the same case with a beginner who has just enrolled into drawing and painting classes or a professional with years of experience. What can one do to overcome this block? Think of good memories. Accessing good memories help stimulate the creativity. Best memories of your life, childhood memories, memories from school and college days, etc.

Checking out all your old sketchbooks and art work takes you back in time and can inspire you to create something beautiful. They are the best form of inspiration as there will be lot of attachment with the older works. You will be amazed looking at your own work and it will instantly motivate you to do something creative.

You can also get inspired by joining drawing and painting classes. You can browse on the Internet for other artists' works and get inspired. What makes your creative juices flowing? For some it could be listening to music, some it would be a walk amidst nature, for some it would be watching movies or reading books which help them create an image in their mind. There are many stimulants which help an artist get motivated. One never knows how time flies by when one is working while listening to favorite music.

Communicate with friends, family, children, older people; their stories and day to day life events can give so much inspiration.

Artist creativity block can be overcome using simplest of the things!
